There’s a lot of running around on a wedding day and masses of preparation beforehand, we manage that. We know who delivers and who doesn’t, can get the best deals, match budget to expectation and generally take the stress out of the whole process.
Having said that, occasionally we get a bride, or more often a bride’s mother, who has an unsustainable hope that she will be able to sit on a sun lounger for a week beforehand, being pampered, greeting her arriving guests with a languid handshake and have not a care in the World. That is going too far the other way. This is at the end of the day an encounter with a lifetime commitment to each other, the meaning of vows and the realisation of what love means to you both, with all that entails. There will be no other day like it in the whole of your lives.
We take care of the logistics, but you both make the effort to put heart and soul into the event. Get the ceremony right and whatever the budget, the reception will be a howling success.
Marriage is like mountaineering, often a lot of work, but the sense of achievement and view from the top cannot be surpassed.
We are very experienced and know what we are saying and doing, works. We have a team of organisers, caterers, priests, photographers and transport specialists whose combined experience runs into much more than a century. Normally we organise all the marriage papers and administration / translations and Mallorca religious and secular authorities. We arrange the wedding with an English-speaking priest, and discuss with you things like preferred readings, hymns, music etc as required. We have organised many Anglican and other denomination weddings and are specialists in Roman Catholic marriage ceremonies.
We advise on any legal requirements and papers. Because we have a base on the island as well as in UK, we are able to keep up to date with changing legislation etc.
As we are not licensed for travel, you will need to arrange your own flights, but we can find and suggest suitable flights at the best prices for you so all you have to do is ring up and book.
We also arrange as required:
- for those who wish it, up to three days' location visit in Mallorca to meet and discuss finer points and arrangements, and a tour around our beautiful island showing you the best hotels for your taste and budget
- insurance for weddings and receptions
- meeting at the airport and transport for client and guests to their hotel(s)
- flowers for church, guests and bride
- wedding rehearsal
- transport from hotel to Church (see selection of Churches)
- transport from Church or Ceremony Venue to wedding reception
- choir, soloist, organ etc as required for your ceremony
- transport back to the airport
- photography / video
- pre-wedding hair and make-up
- wedding cake
- entertainment, including legal requirements (read about fireworks)
- overseeing catering arrangements / outside catering where applicable
